Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, fair rules for cancellations and refunds — for both students and instructors.

1. Overview

We aim to make our cancellation and refund process transparent and fair. This policy explains how refunds work for different class types and when you cancel.

2. Student-initiated cancellation

Refund amount depends on how far in advance you cancel:

Refunds are calculated based on the time of cancellation relative to the class start time.

3. Instructor-initiated cancellation

If an instructor cancels a class for any reason, you receive a full 100% refund automatically — no action required. Repeated instructor cancellations affect the instructor's standing on the platform.

4. No-shows

If you don't show up to a confirmed class without cancelling, no refund is issued. The full booking amount is paid to the instructor as compensation for their time.

5. Refund timeline

Once a refund is initiated, the amount is sent to your original payment method via Razorpay. Typical timelines:

  • Credit/Debit card: 5–7 business days
  • UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
  • Wallets: 1–3 business days

Bank processing times vary. If your refund hasn't arrived after 10 business days, contact us at contact@yogiccity.fit.

6. Disputes and quality issues

If you experienced a serious issue with a class (instructor didn't show up, completely different from description, safety concern), reach out within 48 hours of the class. Our team reviews each case and may issue a discretionary refund or credit.

We may request evidence (photos, screenshots, communication logs) to investigate. False or fraudulent claims may result in account suspension.

7. Non-refundable items

  • Service fees and platform charges (clearly disclosed at booking).
  • Bookings cancelled outside the refund window.
  • No-show bookings.
  • Promotional credits or coupons (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

8. How to cancel a booking

  1. Sign in and go to My Bookings.
  2. Find the booking you wish to cancel.
  3. Click Cancel and confirm the reason.
  4. Refund (if applicable) is initiated immediately.
